Numerous players from Holland have tried out at PBA; some in Florida, but most of them in Amsterdam and Almere.

The last Dutch player signed is Henricus, better known as Rick, van den Hurk (left on picture). Rick attented PBA for about a year and is now pitching for the Jupiter Hammerheads. He is now in Hawaii Winter League.

Kenny Berkenbosch (released in 2006) was a teammate of Rick. He is from from Almere and was the third Dutch player signed by the Marlins. Ralph (Cappy) Milliard was the first one (he is now back in Holland). He played briefly in the majors. Remy Maduro was the next to be signed;  Remy retired from baseball to become an airline-pilot. Maduro played for the Utica Blue Sox (A-level).
